A young man who—at his core—cares to do what is best. A bit of an altruist; he seeks no pleasure in hurting others and often attempts to help others even at his own expense. Though, his excessive care for others often weighs on his mind heavily. Prone to anxiety; Kite feels as if danger is out of his control. The thought of his loved ones coming in harm’s way often plagues his mind. Kite knew he was out of control of these situations; he understood that he is indeed vulnerable. This mindset led to Kite becoming a more aloof, withdrawn individual. The fear of losing those close to him took control, forcing him to shut himself out from others. This often provokes Kite to act in a rude and abrasive manner, attempting to ward off any of whom may try to get close to him.

Kite’s newfound power instilled a certain courage within him. To Kite, he was now an Esper. A protector. The young man held the strength to protect those around him; those he holds dear—or so he thinks. As an agent of Scepter, Kite takes his work quite seriously. Acting as a first-responder to any and all situations within the city, Kite is often on the move as he attempts to swiftly apprehend his targets. When Kite is not on duty, he can generally be found training his Vibration and his combat ability. A diligent soul who is determined to carry out what he perceives to be his “duty”. Kite is determined; an unwavering defender who desires to reach his limits. This struggle for power began to force Kite to forget his fear, opening his heart to others as he forms new ties along his journey.

Kite Seiei is a young man who wants nothing more than a simple life. His only aspiration in life being to settle down, marry a nice girl, obtain a good job, and raise a beautiful family. However, being diagnosed with a heart condition known as Coronary artery disease has Kite in a constant state of dread. He fears the day that his heart gets the best of him; he fears the possibility that he may never see his future. In the fateful event that Kite encounters an Apath, his potential as an Esper awakens. A skirmish had ensued from this awakening between Kite and his new foe. The evoked Esper defeated the depraved Apath in a fit of bloody rage as he attempted to protect his future and livelihood at all costs. The result, however, was unfavorable. The battle had concluded, and Kite’s heart had failed. As he gave way to cardiac arrest, Kite had felt his future slip away. The boy’s dream of a quiet life was no more. From this point on, he would be burdened by the weight of hardship. Responsibility, conflict, love, and hate: concepts that of which begin to plague Kite’s mind. 

Now recovered, the heart of that same Apath resides within Kite's chest under mysterious circumstances. Kite's case was seen as an opportunity to experiment and expand upon an incredibly foggy concept: the Apath anatomy. Through medication, constant-check ups, and monitoring: Kite had successfully adopted the heat of an Apath within his body. Though, this was against his knowledge. Soon after his release from the hospital, Kite had been drafted into the anti-Apath forces known as Scepter. The young man departed from his home on the outskirts of Anaheim, bidding his parents farewell so that he may begin his training as an Esper. Kite receives training from Scepter operatives and continues his studies at the prestigious Anaheim Academy. All had seemed to be well.

Kite was sincerely unaware of the demon that had resided within him. The dormant subconscious that of which belonged to his new heart. The 'soul' of the Apath that it had belonged to. This entity possesses the ability to take control of Kite whenever he experiences or expresses strong negative feelings such as anger and hatred. Kite must now pursue in a quest for power and understanding as he attempts to tame the monster within him.

• Kite is a bit of a gourmet; his favorite foods consist of Shawarma over rice, chicken parmigiana, meat buns, roasted beef brisket, and much more.
• Kite has a strong passion for 21st century 70s and 80s music. Roundabout by Yes, Walk Like An Egyptian by the Bangles, and Maria Takeuchi's "Plastic Love" are his favorite songs. Kite's most favorite music genre, however, is J-Rock. The boy happens to keep this a small secret as he is a bit self-conscious when it comes to sharing his interests.
• Kite surprisingly has other hobbies other than studying and training such as playing video games, watching anime, and even tinkering with electronics. Kite built his first PC at age 15.
