Helen Selleck, Diamond Selleck, Richard Selleck, and even Christopher M. Selleck. All of them were part of the Selleck family. What else do they all have in common? Well, they're all idols. Chris' parents were movie stars, and big ones at that. They were obsessed with fame and prestige and molded their children to fit their ideals. All of them were pawns, mindlessly singing, dancing, and preforming to become idols. Chris' parents believed that by becoming an idol it would be the gateway to a world of fame. Acting, dancing, comedy, late night TV shows. Anything they desired could be materialized once they became idols.

Chris was no different from his siblings. He too was a puppet of his parents. His songs were a hit. His moves were praised. He was invited to more talk shows than he could count. Despite all of it, he hated it. Well, he hated it all except the fangirls. He was a puppet to his parents who only sought fame and prestige. Chris wanted to escape it all. He needed to escape. When he confronted his parents about it, an argument ensured. Then fists were thrown and blood was shed. That was how Christopher Selleck ended his idol career in disgrace and became a juvenile delinquent.

Juvie....was well Juvie. Assholes all around, terrible food, awful schedules with no free time. It was worse than when Chris was an idol. At least when he was an idol he was surrounded by girls and not asshats. He needed an escape. Chris' grades were always above average and he was positive he could think of a way to escape. Yet, his ingenious plan never saw the light of day as Chris' life was all turned around once more with his awakening. His awakening wasn't all that great. He was merely frustrated with the turn of events during a shower. Next second later Chris was emitting bubbles and became a certified Esper. Chris was released on a 'technicality' and was forced to enroll into Specter.
