Lazarus Faux

Cold and callous, as an Apath, him being apathetic is nothing but natural with the only emotions he is able to express being rage and ecstasy. Utterly cunning and manipulative, as evidently shown with his joy in toying with others as if the whole world was his one big chessboard, raising his army of pawns which he slowly manipulates and corrupts to wreck havoc on their own whilst he watch the events unfold from a distance. All in all, Lazarus is nothing but a complete psychopath driven by vengeance and by his burning desire to set the world ablaze.

His new life began with his death. Formerly an Apath very much like any other, nothing too out of ordinary, and is driven by its sole purpose to cause terror and destruction. He knew that he was superior to everything else, even to his fellow Apaths, he felt the superiority of his own power. He quite enjoyed his life, toying with humans and asserting his dominance to his fellow Apaths.

Eventually, the fateful day had then occurred, an Esper had toppled him over, killing the Apath after a sudden explosive blow which prevented the Apath's fail safe escape. However, the dark vibration that flows throughout the city responded to the distortion created by the battle, as that certain vibration grew stronger and stronger, eventually reanimating the cells inside of the Apath's body, allowing for Lazarus' resurrection. In his wake, he found himself in a laboratory in which he had forcibly trashed and escaped from.

As he may have been given a second life, it was, however, imperfect. As it seemed, for the duration of his death, experiments had been conducted with his body for the further enlightenment of humans to the Apath's workings. As a result, his chest was left with nothing but an empty cavity, he was missing his heart. Not only was his heart missing, but as well as his memories and his memory of who he was, essentially his soul. He did get to keep a portion of his memory however, his last few memories before his timely demise. Papers and documents inside the lab gave the Apath enough information for his hunt. Enraged with his body being tampered, Lazarus vowed to seek out whoever took it and reclaim what's his.
