[/b] Event rewards can go anywhere from +30 to +50 and above in EXP. Fighting other players and winning can land you +15 EXP, while fighting another player and losing can land you +7. Note that in order for you to qualify for a full thread completion reward: the thread must be completed with quality. Each post must have clear thought and effort detailed into it. No effort equals no reward.
Once you gain EXP, you can pour it into your character’s current “Level”. Your level is a representation of your character’s overall strength. Everytime you level up, you gain a certain amount of stats that you can then distribute into the four stat categories. Each Level as a few different elements to it. The amount of stats you gain from each level, the amount of EXP it takes to get to each level, and your stat cap with each level. Each of these factors rise the more you level up.
>LEVELS: Stat Gain
From Level 1 to 2, you gain +4 stats. The amount of stats you gain increases by 1 for each Level you gain after that until you reach Level 6. Level 2 to 3 being +5, Level 3 to 4 being +6, Level 4 to 5 being +7, and then every Level from there on out being +8 upon your level up.
>LEVELS: EXP Amount
Each time you level, the amount of EXP needed to level increases by +50. The amount needed to get from Level 1 (the level you start at) to Level 2 is 50 EXP. To get to Level 3 you need 100, so on and so forth.
>LEVELS: Stat Cap
On Zeta, we’ve introduced a stat cap due to the possibility of the board’s gameplay balance being disturbed. This means you cannot raise your stats over a certain amount depending on your level. For Level 1, the stat cap is 15. The stat cap is raised by 10 every two levels. So for Level 1 and 2, your stat cap will be 15. For levels 3 and 4, it will be 20.
Just to help you envision this:
LEVEL 1(50 EXP, +0 STATS, STAT CAP: 15)
LEVEL 2(100 EXP, +4 STATS, STAT CAP: 15)
LEVEL 3(150 EXP, +5 STATS, STAT CAP: 25)
LEVEL 4(250 EXP, +6 STATS, STAT CAP: 25)
LEVEL 5(300 EXP, +7 STATS, STAT CAP: 35)
Ever Level from that point on would grant the player +8 stats to distribute. The stat cap would increase by 10 every two levels (or every odd-numbered Level if you would like to think of it like that). Hope this makes sense.[/ul][/div]
