A blunt, yet honest young man, he is quiet and keeps to himself but would not hesitate if anyone gets in his way, especially if it's an apath. He can be rude and a bit too straight-forward, causing him to be shunned at times, he can be deemed and confident or cocky as he will voice his opinion on if you are good enough for him or to even be around him. Ray seeks out vengeance and revenge, and will do anything to protect himself and all he is close to and loves. He can be ruthless and unforgiving, he doesn't mind killing if he has to, but however will not kill if it is not needed. Ray desires not only to protect those around him, but also to become stronger and to control his power. Ray takes his own personal goals seriously, and wishes to get them done, and doesn't accept failure.

Ray Xenowa is a young man who only wants the best the people close to him, putting them before himself, risking life and limb just to make them happy. This is what caused Ray's life to turn down the unexpected route it did. When Ray was 15 he was living in poverty with his family, living in the slums, he would go out in the morning and steal from food vendors just to make breakfast for his family. His father was sick and they could not afford the medicine to make them better, and to make money to eventually afford the medicine Ray went and got into a gang, a gang run by an Apath. The Apath saw the potential to use Ray as he was an Esper and how he wouldn't give up on his goals. The night Ray had just enough money to get his fathers medicine, he came home to seeing his parents dead, and his sister dead, with the Apath next to her. This rage caused Ray to unlock his vibe and consumed by rage, killed the Apath, went rogue and swore to kill every Apath he laid eyes on. Ray goes around, living in abandoned houses, hunting down not only small Apaths, but well-known ones. Ray's power being extremely limited because of how powerful it is, though when he uses all his power in an attack it will most likely kill the person it is used on, and will improve his abilities such as running, or jumping, but if he uses 100% the limb he uses it on will shatter and be unusable. He learns that he must not only adapt his body so he can use his full power, but to also learn how to control it. His quest consisting of much trauma and struggle, Ray still pushes himself through, for the good of himself, and everyone around him.
