Godmodding is a huge no-no. This is when you allow your character to perform actions they otherwise shouldn't have been able to do. (i.e dodging an attack they shouldn't have been able to attack or one-hitting people.)
2) Metagaming
Metagaming is when you use knowledge that you know OOC but that your character doesn't know IC. (I.e Your buddy tells you one of their character's weaknesses, but their character didn't tell you explicitly.)
3) Common Sense
This is as simple as it gets. Don't spam topics, don't double post, and especially don't be a jerk. That means being racist, homophobic, transphobic, harassing someone else, etc. That ruins everything for everyone.
4) Reporting
If you see someone break a rule, report it immediately. However, if you catch yourself breaking a rule and you come up to us up-front, not only will we be happy with you, but you probably won't be in trouble.
5) Harassment
THIS is a huge no. Never explicitly make someone feel upset, unsafe, or angry in any way possible. If we see this happen, we're pulling you out immediately. No exceptions. We have a zero-toleration towards harassment.
6) Mature Content
Please keep everything PG-13. Not only is this just not the place for that stuff, but it's also a Proboards rule. That means no sexual or graphic content. This goes for PMs, too.
7) Character accounts
An account for your character must have either their first or last name as the username. each character requires their own account. you can easily create multiple accounts via hitting the "switch account" icon in the bottom right.
Your display name for each account also has to be your character's first and last name. It can also be your character's alias, however if it is an alias it must be put in all caps. All images on your account must be of your character and nothing else. You MUST have an icon that is at least 150x150 and a sidebar image that is 250x350 in size. This is not optional. If you need help getting one message SORAN☆ or any of the other staff.
8) Character Deaths and Canon Characters
A character cannot be killed unless the player gives you explicit permission to kill them off. Canon Characters are also not allowed. That means you can't make a character with the same name, looks, and personality as a character from another series. (I.e Literally making Naruto or Goku or something as your character) However, having the same personality and appearance with a different name is okay, just distasteful. We encourage you to be creative!
9) Character Creation
You can only two characters at the time of joining—one Esper and one Apath. In order to create another of either race, you must have at least 25 posts on both characters and maintain activity on each. Making another character after that requires the same amount, so on and so forth. However, if you keep RPing characters up to that amount of posts and then drop them we will limit you.
10) Roleplay Etiquette
We don't expect you to be Shakespeare or anything, but at least use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation on the site! We have no word count, yet one-liners are still not acceptable. Never force anyone to thread with you, and especially do not force them to fight you IC either. Don't ever derail a thread by starting a fight without it making any actual sense IC. Do not RP through PM. Never RP without being accepted first.
11) Face-Claims
We only allow animanga face-claims, meaning only anime or manga characters can be used as an FC. If you have a TV or video game character that you would like to FC then you may as long as you can find art in a similar style.
12) Advertising
No advertising in the chatbox. We have a board for that.
13) Combat System
Do not ever exploit the combat system. If there are any bugs or misconceptions within it please inform us immediately. If anyone is seen exploiting the system for a prolonged duration, they will be banned on the spot.
