Bellatrix is in a bad mood pretty much round the clock. He's always angry, busy, or just flat out doesn't want to bother with anybody. He is a complete hothead, and a firm believer in the hit first ask questions later life style. Bellatrix picks fights almost as often as he breathes, be it out of anger or just for the pure sport of it. Despite being a bit rough around the edges, however, he will make the most loyal friend ever once he decides to let you hangout with him. He has very high respect for anybody who has a great deal of strength, be it physically or mentally. He would never hit a girl, either. Actually, Bellatrix isn't even very good at talking to girls in the first place. Not that he would ever admit it. Bellatrix won't fight somebody who's smaller than him, either. If the fight isn't fair, then all you're doing is kicking around the little guy. No way could a fight like that ever be fun.

Bellatrix doesn't remember anything about his childhood, or if he ever even had one. Such is the case for many apaths, it would seem. Most of his days were spent stealing food, money, or even clothes, and getting into fights regularly. Even at a young age his temper was no small matter, and angering him would not be in your best interest. Besides, a mean reputation will take you far in a place likes the Underworld.
Over time the apath graduated from petty theft to gang wars, with paid fighting circles every now and then. And soon after that, he started leaving the Underworld to wreak havoc above ground and find some stronger opponents. Breaking store windows, busting up cars and people alike, and all around terrorizing the public made for a pretty fun afternoon, but it just wasn't fulfilling wailing on those weak humans. That's when Bellatrix had his very first encounter with Sceptor.
That guy from Sceptor was stronger than any human OR apath Bellatrix had ever faced. Trained solely for the purpose of taking down dangerous apaths, Bellatrix didn't stand a chance. He lost big time. Still, that was the most fun he had ever had in his life! Now the apath's blood was seething and his heart pounding at the thought of seeing those Sceptor guys again. Since that day he's been training almost nonstop, looking forward to one thing only: kicking the hell out of Sceptor.
