Yvette seems to be very 'soft' in a way when first meeting her. She is not overly friendly with a person she just meets and doesn't act too cold to people. However more times than not she doesn't initiate the conversation, mostly because she thinks the majority of people are just impulsive, slightly eccentric, and hard to handle at a minimum. She keeps to herself and tries not to stand out too much, only just enough to where people know she is not just some cute little book worm. She will call you out on anything you do if she finds she has a distaste for it. At this point if you don't fall back she turns vile and goes on to treat you like your very existence is a hindrance in every way possible. Once you leave though, she will just go on with what she was doing, usually reading a book, as if she doesn't have a care in the world. While reading she may make herself some tea, and she is not opposed to putting some honey flavored whiskey in said tea. In spite of any of this she just wishes for her family to be happy and someday functional in a healthy way, and she is terrified of anything bad happening to them. Her fist priority however will always be the students. As an aspiring teacher she's really let her caring side veer more towards the younger student body.

Yvette grew up in a tiny place, more like a township rather than a city. It was met on all sides by farmland and dirt roads. Not to get into anything too deep, but her family life wasn't great. Just because it was a small town doesn't mean it was a quiet one. She would often find herself wandering trying to find something the would give her an excuse not to come home. More often than not in her early years the town trouble maker, Shugo Yuy, was very good at giving her those excuses.

However things changed when he just, kinda left. With her main distraction gone she feverishly looked for something else to occupy her time. Having no other option she threw herself into school work. While studying she found herself more in clubs for children and things like it, knowing her family wouldn't look there. They,her parents, didn't want to be around troubled children. It would remind them their children were in fact troubled. She ended up actively helping with caring for children being mistaken as a helper and rather enjoyed. So she took that and ran with it.

So she's been pushing to become a teacher so she could be a better resource for youth. However her progress was slowed. She would've been a teacher even at this young age if it hadn't been for her family demanding she stay close to home. How could she refuse? Her family was just that, her family. Yvette was loyal to that. So she stayed close and because of that her resources for her own education were lacking. She pushed on. Now she's a student teacher on her way with the best of intentions to help younger generations. Trying her best to ignore her family's extreme distaste.
